Until the Real Thing Happens

The location was on a wall in the ballroom area of a Luxury Hotel in the Georgetown section of Washington D.C.
The "Take It!" came as I had viewed this elegant mural many times. At this time of year they have set up a projector that places simulated moving snow flakes over the entire
mural. It is very striking and gives the viewer a sense of the season no matter what the weather condition is outside.
I held off the posting of the new seasonal banner in the hope of our having a bit of snow outside to photograph - but thus far - no such luck.
Should a real snow storm happen - we will try to capture a photo and will change the banner to add our usual authenticity.
In the meantime we wish everyone our very best for this season with all of its challenges.

As someone who grew up in a snowy climate, I think I'd prefer projector snow over real snow.

As fate would have it - we finally got snow. We will post a few of the photos I took featuring the real snow - and will save a few in case we do not get snow in time next year. In the meantime - will take your suggestion to keep the banner for the Winter season as it is and be happy we had such luck in finding a fill in.
