Cherry Blossom Manor

4/7/18

This photo was taken on Tuesday March 20, 2018 at 10:20 AM.

The location was near the Convention Center in Washington DC.

The "Take It!" came in seeing this bird's nest which was at about eye height for me in a cherry tree that was in blossom.

The birds who had built this nest had chosen well for its location in the flowering tree.  My question is in how many times they were actually on site to enjoy the beauty of the blossoms as they were not on location this year when the blossoms were open and in full splendor. I guess it is just one of those "Snow Bird" things.

The After Take: will be a joy as it will take the form of watching for the birds to arrive and calls for me to pass by this location on the five days of the week upon which I run a route in the city.  I sincerely hope they show up soon so that they too can enjoy this part of their location in the "Heart" of so much that is going on.

Here is hoping you too have found at least one bird's nest to watch for this season and share in this display of the joy to be found in nature.

Best wishes,

Bruce

Wow that is like the Where's Waldo for birds nests. I took me a couple minutes to find it.

Oh I love the Cherry Blossoms. I've never been to see them in person but would love to. So many trees blooming all at once, pictures are beautiful.

Oh neat, wonder what kind of bird made the nest.
