The End of a Storm

The location was outside of Front Royal, Virginia.

The "Take It!" came from having had most of the day be overcast with lots of wind and intermittent rain.  I was driving home from having had a meeting with a great fellow that is helping me with a project.  He lives in rural Virginia a little over an hour from my home.  I was anxious to get home - but could not help but admire the cloud formation as the wind moved them along their way in the sky.  I stopped the car and took off my hat to stand and catch this wonderful setting.

The After Take: I have shown this picture to only a few people.  The reaction was almost all the same.  A complete stop and look to take it all in. This was a match up with how I found myself taking the picture in the onset.

Here is the hope that we all will take that moment when we see something that enchants us, to stop and savor it, if at all possible.

Wishing you all my very best,

Bruce

I've never seen a lot of these old photos. I had been meaning to go back and browse through them, but I think it will be more fun to just catch them as they repost. I have an idea for you that could be fun, a follow up series for the photos you repost. If you can get back to some of these locations and take a new picture now 10 years later. It'd be interesting to see how its changed.
