Rackasorus Rex

The location was at the front entrance to a very large and elegant hotel in Washington DC

The "Take It!" came when I saw this perfectly ordinary car with an equally ordinary bike rack attached to the trunk lid, triggered my seemingly ever ready imagination. For some reason the loose tie down tabs which were standing straight upward, as the car was parked, looked like the tail of one of the dinosaurs. Had the car been moving at a reasonable speed out on a city street or highway, I think the wind would have flattened them out and the illusion would not have been available.

To get the best translation of my viewing, I had to take the two pictures. The first picture shown was actually the second shot taken. I hope you can see the reason for my taking the second shot.

The After Take: Not everyone that I showed the photo to, saw the animal likeness. Those who did - got a kick out it.

I cannot help but wonder, if those straps had any way of being fastened down even without bikes being held in place - to keep the waving in the wind syndrome from being in place. (or in this moment - the standing still imagination activation)

Life is very good.

All my best to each of you,

Bruce
