Splots Have Mind Blowing Argument

4/21/19

This photo was taken in the street on October 14, 2018 at 10:14 AM.

The "Take It!" came as I happened upon this rare picture formed in the street on asphalt by water having arrived on the surface due to fallen rain. As the water evaporates - sometimes shapes are formed from the remaining water - most of which have no recognizable form. But then every once in a while - an image will emerge that has a resemblance to something we know we have seen in the real world. It could be likened to cloud watching to find images however, while clouds are far more spectacular from a size and setting prospective - they are usually fast moving and do not allow the observer the luxury of slowly walking around them to search for features that can be interpreted and possibly added to make up an overall image composite. The capture element via camera with surface imaging, is also very much appreciated. I am a big fan of both forms of imagination exercising opportunities.

I have to confess to sometimes using the framing of an image by the camera as a way to crop out what may offer a distraction to the clarity of what is partially available in a splotch, but when viewed as a whole - the small clear section would get quickly lost and no longer for some reason seem relevant.

This photo is one that takes full advantage of the licence available in the imagination in that the shapes seemed to have faces which were directly opposite one another which were recognizable as such, however the top of what would have been their heads offered no lines nor suggestions of lines of the definition for the remainder of the shapes of heads. It was at this juncture that I decided to have this lack of definition be taken for what it is - as each person loosing themselves in very different ways in what might easily happen in the midst of an argument.

Once again (thankfully) almost all of those to whom I showed and explained my vision of this picture, agreed that they could join me in seeing it that way. Almost to a person - they said they would have never seen it without my explanation. It is at this moment that I fervently hope you were able to join me in the stretch to see these street actors show their stuff - even though in moments it (they) would be gone - perhaps and probably never to be repeated again.

Thank you for joining me in the game of imagination.

To me this looks like a scene from Avengers. When the good guys lose and vanish.

To me it looks like the one on the left is about to kiss the one on the rights forehead.
