Artful Shadow, Blurred but very Pleasant

3/21/17

This photo was taken on November 22, 2016 at 11:20 AM.

The location was adjacent to the entrance of a very nice hotel in the Dupont Circle Area, of Washington DC.

The "Take It!" came from how well this shadow set fit within the painted block wall confines to bring a sort of Asian cast to what was for the most part a plain wall. That this effect is one of being quite temporary makes it that much more special in having been given the opportunity to capture it via this photo for our enjoyment.

The After Take: This is a candidate for having a black and white print made of it. I think the change that would be brought by doing this would be so subtle that it might not make much difference.

Here is hoping you enjoy this little stop along my way.

Wishing you a fine day,

Bruce

PS: I like to include some of the extra photos I take on some subjects, it gives me a chance to share the content of the surroundings from which the initial photo was selected. Sometimes it is difficult to choose which one to place first.

My first thought was it had a sort of Asian inspiration as well.
