Seated Small Child - Set to Catch a Ball

The photograph was taken on December 4, 2021 at 3:15 PM.
The location was in the Navy Yard District of Washington DC.
The "Take It!" came as I stepped out of my car in front of one of my regular stops in this newly developing area of Washington DC.
A look down took me to a drip oil spill on the pavers in front of the new hotel I was visiting.
The similarity of the form to my label for it was a bit of a stretch - but close enough to make the comparison.
I showed the image to several via the screen on the back of my camera - and all agreed it was a good call. Several asked how I could come to that sort of viewing - to which I gave my standard reply of having "no earthly idea" - lol.

The crazy thing is that its fits just perfectly inside the square. You could remove that piece of concrete and it wouldn't be ruined.

My daughter saw the picture, ran out of the room and came back with a ball, then immediately began reenacting the picture. Guess she knew what it was.

I usually try to look at these from different angles to see if I can spot something else as well. I dont think its possible with this one...once I saw the baby and the ball its all I could see.
