Blue Sky Canvas

10/04/20

This photo was taken on September 5 at 10:14 AM.

The location was in the City Center district of Washington DC.

The "Take It!" came as I got out of my car in front of one of my usual stops and happened to look up at the sky.  It was a great day - with clear viewing along with low humidity and pleasant temperature.

What greeted me in my upward glance what a combination of a cloud with an intersecting set of jet contrails.  The blue sky helped make the edges more crisp for the sky portion of the photo.

The other part of the photo which is quite striking is the reflective surface of the buildings and what they were able to catch on their mirror like windows.

The match up was an ever so lucky catch.

Settings like this - can bring an unexpected calm in the midst of all of the turmoil we are experiencing at this time.

Here is hoping everyone had an enjoyable and safe Labor Day Weekend.

Best regards,

Bruce
