Trailered Trailers

10/17/22

This photo was taken on July 20. 2022 at 3:29 PM The location was on the beltway surrounding Washington DC.

The "Take It!" was the long sought answer to a promise I made some time ago with the presentation of a photo/story of a different truck load of similar small trailers that had been loaded in - loaf of sliced bread style. With that photo I promised to pass along when I found one - this alternative stacking style.

It is a study in what ever works best. The usage of plastic foam blocks to keep the load separated and balanced looks to be a plan which has proven itself (I would hope - many times over).

Here is hoping the delivery of the load was safely made and the individual buyers found themselves very satisfied with the product.

We owe a debt of gratitude to all truck drivers for working day and night to bring us what we need. They kept us going through the many phases of the pandemic. When in traffic - I give them a break when ever they signal a request for one.

Life is so much better when small courtesies are extended.

Wishing everyone my very best,

Bruce

So if the previous method were loaded like a loaf of bread would this be Ritz cracker style?

I am always amazed at your ability to take a picture in a moving vehicle. Ever get a ticket?

How many trailers could a trailer pull if a trailer could pull trailers, HA!

My daughters memory is so much better than mine. She immediately knew what this was in reference to.
