The Location was in an outside planter in front of a very nice hotel on Capitol Hill, Washington DC.
The "Take It!" came from having looked at this not so unusual outside plant for a very long period of time. It was one of those low grade ponders that one sometimes can engage in about something
looking vaguely familiar. As is the case with many such pondering's - there is absolutely no time goal set to bring about an answer. Well, this one took several years and in
one day that seemed to be filled with discovery - It came to me that it was the irregular rolling edges to the leaves that had the look of a lasagna noodle.
This discovery called for several photos to be taken and reviewed with others.
The After Take: Happy I was to have everyone agree that the leaves did indeed look like green lasagnia noodles. Whew! There are certain times when I know my thinking is outside the
usual and then there are times when consensus is very important. This muse fell into the later category.
All enjoyed the comparison and got a further kick out of my attempt to put it into a receipe under the category of " Just add sauce - and you are the Boss ! "
Well, enough of this silly fun, it is off to find something else in my collection of as of yet unstoried photographs of which I have quite a few, to put some words to, for our mutual
amusement and if we are lucky, possible astonishment.
Here is hoping this has been an addition to your smile collection.
All the best,

I used to have a plant that looked very similar to that. We called it the pasta garden because there was another plant we had that look like macaroni.

I bet green lasagna would go great with green eggs and ham. Dr Seuss joke.
