Curvature of the Sublime

11/23/20

This photo was taken on November 4, 2020 at 548 AM.

The location was in an area set aside for outside dining in front of a small, very nice hotel near the Kennedy Center in Washington DC.

The "Take It!" came from walking by this set of well made cast metal outside chairs which had been stacked and is in waiting for what may be a few remaining days with weather conducive to outside dining. What struck me was the shape of the chairs brought about a gentle curve as they were stacked one upon another. Collectively they almost make a sculpture.

This was not a long dwelling - just a quick take on something that was pleasant to my eye at an early hour.

Wishing everyone my very best during these challenging times.

Bruce

Well that's a sight you don't see every day.

It would almost make for a good artsy piece if they kept stacking them and made a circle.

I like that color of Christmas lights, pretty cool.

Our daughter said it looks like a centipede.

I like the name you gave it, Curvature of the Sublime.
