This photo was taken September 2016 at 3:37 PM.
The location was in Alexandria, VA on the edge of the Old Towne section.
The "Take It!" came from my having just gotten out of the car at one of my usual stops. and for some reason happened to look up. I was taken in by the cloud formation juxtaposed above the wire that was suspended across the street. For some reason I took the view with several shots to have to contemplate upon, later. I included one shot that was of the clouds only, and did not include any of the wire, nor roof tops.
The After Take: Perhaps it is just too big of a stretch of my imagination, but I thought it interesting to think of the cloud as doing a bit of high wire walking and saw some figures in the cloud as a part of the fun.
I think the main thing about this photo is that it is a way to prompt myself to think of how this sort of situation could arrive in the future, and how to take better advantage of it.
There are all sorts of ways to rehearse, and or practice. I am constantly doing a photography rendition of this to help me in the future.
Wishing everyone the chance to engage in working on parts of what interests you, when ever possible.
All my best,
PS: Sometimes I will get just so far on a physical project, and know it is not going to come out in the best way. It is at that point that I sometimes will set it aside within view, to contemplate it on a recurrent basis, rather than scrap it altogether. One never knows when that piece of a puzzle that will finish things out, will arrive.
