Thanksgiving Dinner Guest Accessory

The "Take It!" came after counting my blessings from having had Thanksgiving Diner at one of my Son's homes. I was invited to participate as a guest for the meal - as he is an excellent cook and enjoys preparing great food. I offered to bring two bottles of wine ( one red - the other - white ) along with two pies ( one of which was pumpkin ) this was to include aerosol whipped cream - lol. My offer was readily accepted.

I arrived at his home - and was warmly welcomed by my older Son Brad, along with his Wife ( my Daughter in Law ) Kathleen, and their Daughter - Gigi - who is my starlet Granddaughter.

I unloaded the pies from my car ( which were in one bag ) from the car - and had them received with thanks from Brad. I then brought in the pictured accessory - and was asked by Brad - what it was for? I responded with a straight face - It was for left over's. It was an extremely rare moment which found him speechless - lolol. Neither he nor I knew from where I conjured that quip - but it was good for a great mutual laugh.

The dinner was delicious, the company grand - and the bounty of left over's I am still partaking of - and may be able to consume all of them after feasting on them for yet another few days - from the container - contents.

We have much to be thankful for (and that will be another story).
