Window Update

10/28/19

These photos were taken on October 23, 2019 at 8:16.

The location was in Washington DC - very close to the Georgetown Section.

The "Take It!" came as I stepped out of a hotel that is across the street from this building that is still under construction.  I had submitted a photo of the glass surface being installed onto the building, https://www.whutzzat.com/photography/summer-photo-s/summer-133-from-top-to-bottom/ ,and this is the follow up to that part of the construction having been completed.

What I found to be a near knock out is the manner in which the convex glass made possible the fascinating reflection on the building from the structure across the street.  Because the glass is not the usual smooth surface found on most buildings - this convex arrangement enables a breakup of reflection which is most interesting.

I hope the local media picks up on this as I hope it proves worthy of landmark status.

Wishing everyone my very best,

Bruce

Oh that's one of those buildings where if you look at it from certain angles you can see the partitions line up to display the entire building opposite it, but if you look at it straight on it just looks like slivers.

Try going back and looking at it from an angle.

Thanks for posting an update, I remember wondering what it would look like completed.

Wow, they did that fast. Four months is far faster than anything like that would get done in our city.
