Slow Down Moment

3/6/16

This picture was taken on Friday March 4, 2016 at 4PM.

The location was in Northern Virginia near Stanton.

The "Take It!" came from my having had a set of back to back highly rushed days. I had just left the shop of the great Woodworker, that is finishing parts for a product for me, and was set to high tail it home.

The sky was filled with clouds, but some openings in them allowed some light shafts to penetrate through.

It seemed to be speaking to me, letting me know, that it was time to slow down.

Heed the message, I did.

The After Take: was a drive home done in silence ( no radio on ) where I gave fellow drivers, lots of breaks to pull in front of me, and extended every courtesy I could perceive as being needed or possible. The return rewards were many. I got home, by going a completely different way, and did so in a very reasonable length of time.

Live is ever so good.

Thanks for taking a moment to view this.

All my best,

Bruce

This reminds me of a Albert Bierstadt painting.

It is a very relaxing photo, like something I would expect to find in my dentists office. I look at it and feel an overwhelming sensation of 'life is good' .

My GF will like this picture, she is in to the nature scene. I can appreciate a good pic but I just don't get her.
