The Leaf Dance Stopped

12/25/12 -103-

The photos were taken on November 24, 2012 at 6:07.

The location was in Washington DC in the rear drive way of a large building .

The "Take It!" came from the unusual edges and shapes found in the fallen leaves on the pavement. It almost looked like they had been swept sculpted into odd shapes with near defined edges. I had never noticed this effect before. It brought about a pondering as to how it came to be.

The After Take: The photos when shown to others seemed to bring about a response almost the same as what I experienced. I could not help but wonder and share that I found it hard for me to imagine the wind just stopping all at once to bring about the edges to the patterns. The direction and shapings of the wind to make the paterns themselves - just too many to question. The texture of the leaves and their uniform depth another bit of marvel in this show of nature in part shaped by man.

I am in hopes you too experience some pleasant unexpected displays of nature.

Thanks for joining us for the current photo presentation. You are cordially invited to return Friday, December 28th for a new picture that we hope you will enjoy.

Wishing you all my best,

 Bruce

Interesting how they all seem to group together.
