A Narrow but Striking Reflection

1/26/20

This photo was taken on December 10, 2019 at 10:19 AM.

The location was in the lobby of a moderately priced but very nice hotel.

The "Take It!" came as I was about to board and elevator which is next to the open atrium in which this chandelier/ light fixture is on display.

The sun at that time of the morning was giving off full radiance to this fixture through the windows which in turn reflected off the chrome circular patterns which make up the outside of the art piece.  It was the intensity of the reflection onto the opposite wall which caught my attention. There was a randomness about the band of light which made a delightful highlight to this ordinary area.

Call it a once of day show - but it was splendid.

Sometimes it is the little stuff that looms large.

Best wishes to each of you,

Bruce

I have an old friend that makes things like these. They are so neat to look at in person. I’ll have to show him this.

I spent all this time looking at the metal piece itself, just as I was about to scroll down I noticed the really cool reflection it cast on the beam. Almost looks like a radio wave or something.
