Yellow Jacket In The Snow

1/24/21

This photo was taken on December 17, 2020 at  7:18 AM.

The location was at my home in Beltsville Maryland.

The "Take It!" came from the announcement of a real snow - which came from the steady and sure delivery of my daily paper by my highly valued delivery person - which was the usage of the yellow plastic protective bag covering up the papers with a double wrapping.  I subscribe to The Washington Post and The Wall Street Journal.  The Yellow protective bag serves to not only save the papers from being soaked in the snow - but also as an identifying contrast in the white snow to help in finding it.

The fellow that delivers the paper using his car - never misses with his toss to get the paper into the middle of my small back porch. This extra measure of accuracy is sincerely appreciated as it helps me avoid those trudges into the snow which is usually what I had to do at my former residence.

It is fun to see this first snow of the season - fall so close to the official first day on the calendar, of Winter.

It is our sincere hope that in this past holiday season you were able to celebrate safely the gifts that each day brings us in ever so many ways.

All the best from Taylor and Bruce

I loved the snow in my youth, now I have to watch where I'm going.

I think you may be the only person I'm currently aware of that gets a newspaper delivered still.
