Spring Break

3/17/18

This photo was taken on March 10, 2018 at 7:46 AM.

The location was in the brick lined driveway in front of a Historic Designated hotel in Washington DC in the City Center District.

The "Take It!" came as I was walking out from this wonderfully maintained hotel and happened to look down at the brick driveway  under foot and saw this one brick that somehow had done a partial break up.  What caused this to happen to one brick out of many is a mystery and worthy of many captions.

After having taken several photos of this one brick on different days, I settled on this one as think it will enlarge very well and hung in the right location in my home will be a contemplative conversation piece along with adding a dash of color to my white walls.

I am reaching a point where I am considering giving tours of my home and introductions to some of my art and fledgling products.   I have had several mini tours on an informal basis and those who participated, left saying they had enjoyed the experience immensely.

I have a list of folks who have expressed interest in joining me in such future adventure.  I am working to finish out both the layout of the house furniture scheme as well as finishing touches to the products.  It is fun to be healthy enough to engage in putting this together.

More on this later.

In the meantime, thank you for your kind comments and good wishes, for they have been grand in their inspiration for me.

Bruce

Is the art in your house your own work or a collection of others? Or both?

You could almost make a DC scavenger hunt with some of these photos. I know I've gone looking for a few that caught my eye when I was last there with the school class.
