Red Dawn

This picture was taken on Saturday March 14, 2016 at 6:15am.

The location was on Pennsylvania Ave., right across the street from the Capitol building.

The "Take It!" came as I was driving around doing my daily job. I was alone so I was able to pass the time by listening to an audiobook. Now I don't have the knack for catching photo ops like Bruce does when I am out and about so I rarely spot the things he is able to catch. However this particular morning as I was listening to my audiobook describe a sunrise in great detail, I suddenly began to notice this quite colorful sunrise happening around me. My first thought was, "Well that's pretty cool," and keep moving along with my day. However after looking at it further, I decided to just grab a quick shot before moving on.

The After Take: That same day I returned to Bruce's house to do the final step of my job before going home. While we were talking about the day, I pulled up the photograph and offered to post it on his site. The idea was well received, and here we are now.

Hope you all enjoy the photograph.

Thanks,
Taylor

How cool is that? A lovelier ceiling I have not seen. Great job, Bruce!

Hi Taylor, I do not want to take away from the fact that this is indeed a very pretty picture you took, but MHampy, Georgieprof and I were wondering if everything is ok with Bruce? We realized yesterday it's been about two weeks since his last posting. We haven't had the opportunity to discuss his work, please tell him our lunches aren't the same without his pictures and thoughts. If he is ill please tell him he will be in our thoughts.
