The location is in my bedroom in my house in Bethesda, Maryland.

Yes, it is my rendition of the old "use two alarm clocks" approach with the set up being the night before, after either a long and tiring day or getting to bed very late when there is a get up
early ( or even the regular time ) needed on the next day.
That little faithful alarm clock on the table next to the bed goes off just like it usually does, but this time, because more sleep is wanted - suddenly I reach for it and shut it off !
with a variety of words or comments. For this story I have chosen a polite one - lol.
To help assure that I get up - I place a second alarm clock in a location that requires me to get out of bed to turn it off ! I set the two clocks for the same time so that I do not give
myself any " snooze setting " cuz once I start waking up - I want to make certain to use the momentum to get all the way up and get going with the day for which this urgent call has been made.
I think there has only been one time that I went through both alarms and went back to bed. Usually it works.
Here is hoping you have a fool proof method for getting yourself up when you absolutely have to.
