Skate Boarder at Speed

2/27/23

This picture was taken on January 18, 2023 at 11:57 AM.

The location was in the driveway entrance to a very nice moderately priced hotel in Washington DC.

The "Take It!" came after getting out of my car which I had parked in the driveway a short distance from this drip formed image. I have gotten to a place where I am constantly making quick evaluations of all sorts of things and images on walk and drive surfaces to see if a recognizable figure can be imagined from what is available. This was one of those which could hopefully be recognized fairly easily. The only real decision was made for me in determining if it was to be a snow or skate board - as there were two distinct drips under the board - which kept it as a street activity.

The crouched figure on the board - takes on the likeness of being at speed - complete with a speed tail extending behind it.

This is a photo - I ran by some of those who kindly review my candidate photos - and thankfully was able to get a thumbs up - on the stretch of imagination it would take for other viewers to possibly enjoy it.

Wishing everyone my very best,

Bruce

The first thing I saw was an exploding volcano, but I see the skate boarder now.

Thank you to everyone who sent in their view/interpretation of this photo. One of the great joys of all of this for me - has been the fun of capturing the photo images - then - when needed - arriving at some sort of - what the image portrays. The fun is made further - by waiting to receive the feedback from your comments - and the delight of finding out - how almost everything can be seen differently. Again - thank you to all for sharing with us - your views.
    Best regards to all. Bruce
