A Day Trip to the Ocean for Wave Therapy

8/29/22

The photographs were taken on August 25, 2022 at 1:31 PM.

The location was at Rohoboth Beach, Delaware.

The "Take It!" came after having been situated on the beach with a rented big umbrella and surprisingly few people on the beach.

The trip was taken after I had fully realized how long it had been since I had made a visit to the beach - and that I had best take care of that before the Summer had officially ended for this year. The day could not have been more perfect as it was under 90 degrees, sun shining, a small breeze, and gentle waves which allowed me to quickly enough take a nap.

I was able to take the attached photos and make my way home at a reasonable time. On my way home - going westward - I was given special amount of road time watching the sun slowly make its way into a sunset.

For me - it was a mission accomplished. I am in hopes for everyone else - you were able to make your way to the water's edge in some way during the Summer and enjoy the relaxing effect it can have.

All my very best,

Bruce

I need some wave therapy myself. I haven't been to the beach since I moved to a landlocked state.

My daughter is now begging for a beach trip. Unfortunately the best we can do is a lake.

Looks like a relaxing day. I could use one of those.

Thank you to everyone for your comments. Part of the fun of our putting this site together is the knowledge we have a chance to share some pleasant moments and views. This one seemed to hit the mark in the best of ways. I plan to make a large print of the sea gull and have it framed to hang in my living room as a year round reminder of the need to make an annual visit to the beach. Wishing everyone my very best.
