Eye Candy

9/15/14

This set of photos were taken on September 3, 2014 at 6:05 AM

The location was under the roof placed above the driveway at a modest hotel in Washington DC

The "Take It!" came from a second glance at a reflection in the covering of an outside rear view mirror on a rental car I was driving while my car was in the shop getting a new plastic front end.  The overhead lights just happened to fall in line with how I parked the car which brought about this sort of eye shaped swoop of the line of lights from above.  It was one of those things that came only from having a different colored vehicle that brought about this kind of high lit reflection and thus the catching of my eye,

The lower shot shows some of the setting for the above photo.   I enjoy presenting these "atmospheric" shots to help explain where possible the conditions or setting for the focal point or best shot from the catch.

The After Take: To those who I showed these shots to - all seemed to enjoy them.  Everyone joined me in the delight of making the "catch."

We live in such a fast moving world that many of my photographs seem to come from being able to fast freeze a frame and wherever possible take a few moments to go back and gather a few more pictures when possible with my camera and when the camera cannot be accessed, at least, give it some more mental imaging to more fully fill in the details for the memory bank for later recounting.

Here is hoping, you enjoy this brief display of "the little stuff."

Happy day to everyone,

Bruce

My paint job would never award this kind of clarity.

Yet another thing you notice that's eyes would've passed right over.
