The Closed Door Opens

This photo was taken on May 3, 2013 at 3:48pm.

The location was in the Hacienda del Sol Resort located in the Catalina Mountain Foothills near Tucson, Arizona.

The "Take It!"  came from this delightful and unusual adapting of what once was an open arched doorway to another room that had been closed off using a wooden door like partition.  The beautification of this was made ever so complete with the placement of a framed painting of the desert in bloom, upon the wooden partition. This painting was further enhanced with the addition of the arch of fresh flowers, whose colors complemented the hues found in the painting.

The After Take: All to whom I showed this photo to were quite taken with the beauty of the subject. They too had almost instant admiration for the way it was all put together.

There are many ways which one can transform a no longer used item or place into a real show piece. This is a most attractive example of art and imagination being put to work.

Here is hoping this little sample may serve as an inspiration for you, it certainly has for me.

Wishing you my very best,

Bruce

Amazing pic! It's great how the color of the foliage and the door match the painting!
