Tab Pull for Van Top

This photo was taken on July 4 at 8:30 AM.

The location was at a modestly priced hotel drive entrance in Tyson's Corner, Virginia.

The "Take It!" came from my fascination with reflections and how they can impose themselves on things that are on a regular repeat basis as well as things that just happen along. This was entirely random in that it is the passing of day light through a clear sky light in the roof of the driveway coverage. That the hotel van just happened to be parked in a position to have the image of the sky light distorted by the curvature of the windshield made for a cool catch.

The finding of a label for the photo took a while to categorize the shape  of the outline of the reflection and connect it to the top of the van.

The After Take: To the few that I showed this to - all seemed to enjoy the playfulness of the image catch.  It just does not have any serious conversion available. All out fun.

Here is hoping you have some all out fun made from something you see as you go about your days.

PS:  Yes, I do wish I had been there to see this image on the move when the van pulled out to perform its next shuttle duty run to the many locations this great little hotel offers as service for its guests.

This setting looks familiar although I can't place my finger on it. Have you done a photo here before?

Are those things storage on the top? I've always wondered.

Hi Gabe, Yes, this hotel has been either the subject or background for previous photos. Keen of you to notice.

Yuppie7 The extened top is in this instance to provide extra ceiling room to better enable passengers getting in and out of the seating.
