Plume Touch Down

The location was in Arlington, Virginia.

The "Take It!" came as we sat in my car waiting for the light to change. I just happened to look up and saw this set of vapor trails that seemed to rise up out of the top of the building in our view.  It gave a brand new personality to this otherwise staid corporate citizen of the community.

The After Take: To those that I showed this to - all seemed to like it.  There are so many days that the vapor trails are visible in this area, and so many flights making them that we who live here have a tendency to almost not see them any more as they are so common.

One of the biggest challenges for me is to keep looking for the uncommon fraction of a moment and hopefully be able to catch it.  I have to confess that sometimes, a wonder is presented to me many times and I just do not see it.  When that moment arrives that I recognize what has been there all along - I am most appreciative.

Sometimes it is great to let the small stuff be featured and have its grand moment.

Wishing you all the best,

Bruce

So many of your creations seem to come from waiting at red lights. While we all sit at them annoyed you must really enjoy the break to look for different picture ideas. What a cool way to pass some time.
