Remove Bolt, and Take a New Direction

6/19/16

This photo was taken on May, 24, 2016 at 3:29 PM.

The location was in Tyson's Corner, Virginia.

The "Take It!" came after seeing this directional sign, obviously missing a bolt, which could have misled someone in to thinking, they may have had a chance to take a short cut to Heaven.

The After Take: It did not take much on my part in the way of explanation to those that I showed the photo to, to have the observer, move straight into a laugh.

I cannot help but wonder how long it took for a sign repair crew to appear and take away this ever so tempting illusion.

Guess I had better do my best to stay on the straight and narrow, and mind my manners, for I do not think there are any short cuts for the destination.

Here is hoping, even when something is missing, it can bring you a laugh.

Wishing you all a safe journey,

Bruce

Good thing most drivers are intelligent. That sign would be a disaster otherwise. By the way, this one was a fun read. I'll let my wife know another one was posted, she's out of town and may not check otherwise.

I didn't understand the title at first, then I read it. Pretty funny!
